Son of Mrs C. D. H. Goldie of Louisville Drumchapel, Glasgow, and the late Andrew Goldie.
William was wounded sometime between 3.35am and 5am on the morning of 3rd May 1917 during the Battle of Arras. Sadly he died of his wounds on the 5th of May 1917.
